With the increased amount of high school students presenting with anxiety due to the stresses of today’s expectations, it is important for parents to understand what their sons and daughters are facing and how they can help them cope. From SAT testing, homework and grades to over-commitment, between school, sports, a social life, social media and family obligations, a teenager’s life becomes a balancing act that students can have trouble dealing with.
On April 12th at 10:00am, Plainfield North, in conjunction with Edwards-Elmhurst Health is focusing its spring Coffee with the Counselors session on helping students with anxiety. This presentation will be open to ALL parents. If you are interested in attending, please use the link below to sign up.
