Every day, 43 children are diagnosed with cancer and each year, over 40,000 children are treated for cancer. No child should ever have to fight cancer, they should be enjoying their childhood! To help bring an end to pediatric cancer, Plainfield North High School will be going GOLD with Cal’s Angels to raise awareness for pediatric cancer and the gold ribbon.
Cal’s Angels is a local pediatric cancer charity with a mission of granting wishes, raising awareness and funding research to help kids fighting cancer, right here in the Chicagoland area.
Our goal is to turn PNHS GOLD on September 14th. If you attend the football game on Friday September 14th, you will see gold accessories on our athletes that were provided by Cal’s Angels. We will also be selling t-shirts for $10 during lunch periods the week of September 10th-14th to wear to our Gold Out Football Game.
We are excited to partner with our friends at Cal’s Angels who support kids in our community as they fight cancer. Join the fight and go gold!
