Naviance

What is Naviance?

I know that graduation seems far away, but four years goes by fast and there’s lots to do along they way!   Each school year, the Counselors will meet with you to share what you should currently be thinking about/doing to prepare for life after graduation.  We’ll help you explore your strengths and interests and then use that information to make a career goal and create a plan.

Throughout your four years at PNHS, we will be using Naviance as our main tool for career and college research and planning.

To learn more about Naviance, you can watch the Naviance Student Tour and Overview video.  Students can explore all that Naviance has to offer at any time by logging in through Clever using the instructions listed below.  There’s a “Show Me How” button in the lower right hand corner of Naviance if you need help.

How to log in to Naviance

  1. From the Plainfield North webpage, go to the Quick Links menu and click Clever

TEACHERS:  How to submit/send student letters of recommendation through Naviance

Students should send teachers an email requesting a letter of recommendation at least two weeks prior to the college application deadline.  Once they get a response from you, they will put the request in Naviance, and you will receive an email with a link to upload the letter in Naviance.

Here are instructions for submitting letters of recommendation:  Naviance Quick Guide for Teachers and Naviance Teacher Desk Reference Guide.

Teachers, please contact Melissa Hurst if you have any questions or issues.
