The Plainfield North High School Marching Tigers achieved a monumental milestone, capturing their first-ever Illinois State Championship on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at Illinois State University.
The Marching Tigers were named Class 5A Champions and earned top honors for Music Performance and General Effect. The band performed among some of the most accomplished high school ensembles from across the state.
“This performance is a testament to the many hours of dedication that our students, band staff, and parents have contributed to the program,” said PNHS Director of Bands Tim Hatcher. “We work hard to better ourselves every day, and the students take tremendous pride in their efforts.”
